Field Service Engineer
Responsibilities: Handles the technical service at the premises of the final customer;Service, maintenance, repair, testing and calibration of complex equipment also with minimum supervision;Report issues of the final customer;Support requests from customers or partners. Duties: Performs the service at the customer's premises based on instructions received by the Service planner and the results of the service must be shared internally using the work report and the Fusion enterprise system;Through the switchboard, receiving phone calls for service requests from the customer or partner, identifying and associating the reference machine to the customer/partner using FUSION and opening the resulting ticket;Domestic and international travel. Qualifications: Five years Industrial Technical diploma with Mechanical / Electrical emphasis;Training courses on handling service over the phone / remotely. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing machinery;Interpret/read electrical and mechanical drawings, manufacturer guidelines, reference manuals and instruction guides;Work with suppliers to resolve technical issues at customer sites;Practiced technical competences (electrical and mechanical) on equipment produced and installed;Practiced validation competences with reporting according to legislation on equipment produced and installed;MS Office Suite and FUSION company enterprise system. Relational Skills: Having careful and active listening; with the patience necessary to listen to people all the way to the bottom, able to communicate the opinions of others, even when not in agreement;Problem Solving using rigorous logic and a precise method in order to solve difficult problems using effective solutions; probing all useful sources to find answers; being able to identify hidden problems and having excellent analytical skills to look beyond the obvious, never stopping at the first answer;Attention to the customer: dedicated to satisfying customer expectations and requests, obtaining information first hand and using it to improve product/service; acting in consideration of customers, establishing and maintaining effective relations with customers and allowing Comecer to gain their respect;Follow customer's plant and safety regulations while at their facility. Language Skills: Good/great knowledge of English, both written and spoken;Experience: From 2 to 5 years of experience as a travelling technician or with remote technical service.
