Job Description Primary Function: Responsible for providing world-class support services to KLA PCB EMEA customers, ensuring all direct imaging systems perform properly, enabling high customer satisfaction and perception of the value of services received.
Reports directly to the assigned Regional Service Manager.
Skill Requirements: Solid background in electronics, mechanical engineering, vacuum technology, and basic knowledge of Printed Circuit Board technologies. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose Pneumatic, Vacuum, Electronic (AC and DC), and Computer issues to the component level. Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and MS Office products. Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills. Good organizational skills. Adaptable approach to working hours, locations, and conditions. Flexible approach to work responsibilities, enabling both independent and team working. Ability to work alone or unsupervised for extended periods, often in difficult conditions. A detailed and logical approach to problem-solving. Must be able to travel extensively (up to 3 weeks or more per month) to support the customer base as the need arises. Principal Duties/Responsibilities: Provide service support to customers encompassing system commissioning, system breakdown repairs, and preventative maintenance support. Generate a close working relationship with the customers to enable the company to sell its product portfolio. Accurate completion of all field reports. Represent KLA Company culture and values in a respectable manner. Travel required by driving and flying as needed to support all services. Position located in the Milan area. Must be able to: Work autonomously. Travel 80-90% to support the customer base as the need arises. Lift ~ 23 kg overhead occasionally. Lifting ~ 23 kg frequently. Bend from the waist. Lift items overhead safely. Work on hands and knees or on their back while servicing equipment. Bend and twist to gain access to service the equipment. Read and interpret schematics. Read and interpret signs, placards, and manuals. View the full color spectrum. Work standing at the system in up to 2-hour intervals.
