Field Service Engineer – Gas Detection We have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join us at Honeywell.

Grow the service contract base within Italy while also supporting our existing contract base.

Please be informed that we are looking for candidates based in the Central/Southern area of Italy to be able to visit customers.

Key requirements To achieve monthly, quarterly and annual financial targets for region.

Responsible for completing scheduled and unscheduled Field Service.

Performing service & repairs to Honeywell and other manufacturers fixed and portable products.

Provide detailed and accurate reporting on all site visits and projects.

Complete all service orders through the customer database system.

Service, commissioning and installation of field equipment.

Responsible for maintaining, controlling and managing a personal stockroom Responsible for diagnosing and analyzing causes of product failures and making recommendations for improvement.

Have direct interaction with customers to build relationships, establish communication and promote HGAS products and services Provide Honeywell customers with product support & technical enquiries.

Review, report and control warranty costs Provide all Honeywell internal customers and sales engineers with technical information and support.

Support for agents and distributors Ensure Honeywell Health & Safety compliance Ensure Honeywell Code of Conduct compliance Actively participate in Honeywell Operating Systems assisting with Business/Departmental goals while meeting personal goals.

Actively participate in out of hours on call program.

Assess and evaluate installation work in conjunction with sales team Identify and pass on sales leads.

Work with and strengthen relationships with other Honeywell organizations Key skills and qualifications Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent 2 years field service/customer facing role (essential) Experience in Oil & Gas, Hi Tech, electronic or instrumentation industry, as a plus Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills Electronic/Electrical/Instrumentation fault finding and diagnostic skills Electrical installation skills and knowledge of gas detection, as a plus Able to work on own initiative and work well within a team Excellent customer relation skills Self-motivated and Results driven Proven record of strong organizational abilities.
