Description Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Field Service Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. Person will be hired on the Naples site (Italy), but travel to northern Italy will be required.

Accountabilities Perform on site corrective and preventive maintenance in accordance with the contractual KPIsProvide on-site support to Customer Maintenance personnelMonitor, analyse and report on site system performancePerform first level of troubleshooting on site in case of issuesDownload logs and dump files from on-site equipment and provide first level of analysisPerform on-site maintenance task ensuring the application of OHS and HSMS rulesEnsure the availability of local stock and repair process activationEnsure the technical reporting issuing to the customer on-site maintenance and system performanceAnalyse and provide solutions to project technical issues (critical failures of equipment, obsolescence. . . )Activate escalation process to ENG or DEV department in case of major failureKeep up to date the technical documentation and troubleshooting proceduresEnsure the hand-over between Commissioning and MaintenanceRequired Skills/ Knowledge Railway equipment/environmentTesting & Fault findingIncident/accident investigationKnowledge of technologiesKnowledge of tendering processMaintenanceOrganizational EffectivenessRailway Safety Rules & RegulationsUp to 3 years of experienceUse of Maintenance toolsDriving licenseKnowledge of computers and the main platformsEducation/Qualifications High School diploma or degree in Electronics/Electrotechnics.

Languages English intermediate proficiency.
