Position Description

The Team:

The Field Service team is based throughout Italy and supports customers within different geographic regions.

To strengthen our Service team we are looking for a Field Service Engineer to be based in Lombardia and will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of QIAGENs' innovative products for customers across **Lombardia, Piemonte and Liguria mainly, but not limited to follow customers and travel around Italy when needed.

Key responsibilities include:

- Installation of automation solutions and analytical devices.

- Maintain and develop positive relationships with customers.

- Assist in the development and maintenance of reference customers.

- Assist in Meeting/exceeding sales targets in relation to maintaining high customer satisfaction.

- Actively promote and sell Field Service products.

- Utilize the CRM database to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness.

- Give active feedback to Sales, Global Product Support, and your team/management.

- Manage effective available time and resources.

- Provide cross-border/district/region support when required.

- Positively represent QIAGEN in front of the customer.

- Error analysis and repair.

Position Requirements

- Location: Based in Lombardia region.

- Strong technical skills combined with basis in Molecular Biology.

- Reliable and independent method of working.

- Previous service and maintaining instrumentation experience in a comparable position within the Diagnostics and Life Science industry/markets would be preferable.

- Proven work experience in developing customer relationships.

- Willignes to travel 80% of your time **mainly in Lombardia, Piemonte and Liguria regions**.

i**n some ocassions, just if needed, in other Italian regions.

Personal Requirements

Good interpersonal skills.

- Valid drivers license and Passport and willingness to travel.

- Ability to work both independently and in a structured working environment.
