Field Support Specialist SCADA System (W/M) Apply locations Home Office Italy Time type: Full time Posted on: Posted 30+ Days Ago Job requisition ID: R31462 We are looking for a Field Support Specialist - SCADA System to join our South Europe Service Project team.

50% travelling to our customers based in Europe is to be expected.

Based in Italy, you will lead and enhance a technical team's performance in BioProcess equipment services, ensuring successful delivery and maintenance of equipment.

You will be working in a dynamic team where we hope to develop your talents together.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities You are the point of escalation for technical assistance and liaise with the team to ensure timely resolution of all issues.

You act as a key source for pro-active improvement suggestions for the technical and field service aspects of the position.

You support the Field Service Technicians with in-depth technical knowledge.

You perform service activities within guidelines and in compliance with internal & customer procedures and regulations.

This includes commissioning/installation, repairs, maintenance, etc. , to ensure safe and effective customer operations.

Manage new (especially large) installations and take ownership for the customer site where new equipment will be installed to ensure that everything necessary has been prepared accordingly to our requirements.

Ensure the validation of the practical skills acquired in the field by the Service Technicians at the end of the companionship program.

What will convince us Software or code language: Windows environment (ideally knowledge of the basics of domain control) Protocols for remote connections: RDP, VNC, etc.

Virtualisation technology Communications standards: OPC, TCP/IP, Serial SQL databases Technical knowledge: Network Automation SCADA system PLC (ideally S7 and/or TIA portal) Professional and personal skills: Troubleshooting, analytical skills Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian, French, or Spanish is a plus Reporting Support and mentoring skills Priority management Good internal (Sartorius) and external (Customer) communication skills Autonomy About Sartorius Sartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
