The Field Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.
This position is part of a team located in and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Provide second level support by resolving customer problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting on Automation systems.
Support our field team (FSE, FAS) to maintain, install, and validate laboratory systems in the field, advising the team on relevant and critical technical issues ensuring strong customer satisfaction, retention rate, and warranty conversion.
Utilize critical thinking to resolve appropriate actions to rapidly repair instrumentation.
Ensure the growth of the Field Service Engineers' technical know-how by managing the flow of technical information between the European and BU to the local team.
Collaborate actively with Sales/Application/Tender Department to improve customer solutions and routines.
Verify the operational performance and data quality of systems to supply to our overall commercial organization.
Develop your project management skills in the context of installation projects.
The essential requirements of the job include: Associate degree (preferably in technical, biomedical, robotic, automation, or related fields) or at least some equivalent demonstrated experience with fluency in English and Italian, both verbal and written, sufficient to attend and provide training and participate in discussion forums and international meetings.
Willingness to work different shifts/flexible hours as business needs dictate, along with the ability to travel and provide service throughout the country as well as periodic travel to other European countries and overnight travel.
Strong leadership skills and interpersonal relationship abilities.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Problem solving and aptitude to proactively identify solutions.
Good IT knowledge, familiar with IT topics: enjoy setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, interfaces.
Developing a critical mindset supported by DBS tools.
