Finance Analyst, Italy
TASKS and RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Support the preparation of periodic statutory and fiscal aspects closures, management of deadlines and tax obligations (eg VAT settlement, tax deductions, etc.
).
- Assist in preparing audit work for year end with external auditors.
- Ensure adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls.
- Support Cork Team for balance sheet accounts reconciliation.
- Work closely with Shared Service Centers based in Cork, Ireland, and Manila, Philippines, in execution of end-to-end finance processes.
- Proactively support Shared Service Teams to ensure compliance with local requirements (RTR, indirect tax, WHT, Enasarco)
- Supervise the flow of invoices received through SDI (tax authority web page) making sure costs are captured (or accrued).

- Implementation of PO invoices
- Supervise sales agents (monthly commissions calculation and related accruals, quarterly reports to sales agents, quarterly and yearly Enasarco submissions, maintain sales agents' files, year-end calculation for statutory purposes, year-end data certification, mandates management)
- Manage assets and ensure compliance with local and group requirements
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts in conjunction with all the different teams involved in the process.
- Assist in Monthly, Quarterly and Year End closings.
- Support in leading assessment of business performance and assess risks and opportunities to form recommendations for stakeholders.
- Package and communicate insights and actionable next steps and report on performance to leaders.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- University Degree (Finance
- Management
- Statistics
- Engineering
- etc.
).
- At least 3 years of proven experience as auditor
- accounting
- finance
- controlling etc.
- Knowledge of Italian VAT, ITA GAAP, US GAAP and periodic submissions required by statutory regulations
- SAP experience will be considered a plus
- Italian and English proficiency
- Proven ability to work in a team environment with good analytical and problem solving skills around accounting analytics and processes
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, customer management skills, analytical, change management and communication skills.
