**Finance Controlling Manager

**Position Purpose**:

- Supervise financial accounting and financial closing activities.

Implement financial controls ensuring that closing activities are performed timely and financial activities are in compliance with IFRS, Italian accounting standards and corporate policies & procedures.

Perform entity statutory financial reporting and corporate reporting activities as well as entity planning

- Facilitate transfer pricing compliance and reporting activities in line with local regulations and corporate requirements through effective planning of financials and strong cooperation with global / local tax team

- Providing support to GBS and ensuring integrity of data

- Leading local implementation of finance projects

- Participating to other local/global projects impacting financial KPIs

- Develop local Entity accounting team being the senior member

- Ensuring Jsox and control framework compliance

**What will you do - Responsibilities**:

- Execute and manage JTI corporate financial accounting activities ensuring that monthly, quarterly and yearly financial records are timely and accurately maintained in compliance with IFRS, Italian accounting standards and corporate policies & procedures.

Ensure that financial & accounting transactions are timely and accurately reconciled

- Execute and manage entity statutory financial reporting activities (both interim and year-end) ensuring that all statutory filing deadlines and requirements are met timely and accurately.

Includes preparation of information for consolidated group reporting (for the Italian entity), statutory financial statements, forecast financial statements, and ad hoc statistical reporting for external statutory and government bodies

- SAP Power User for R2R modules; ensuring and maintaining technical knowledge for accurate and appropriate recording, processing and reporting of financial data in the system.

Supports system testing, system enhancement and training

- Preparation and participation on Transfer Pricing (TP) calculations for forecasting and actuals purposes

- Execute and manage statutory reporting in cooperation with the accounting team.

- Ensure that governance processes and operational controls are operating effectively through conducting regular risk assessments and evaluations of operational controls.

Supports the development and improvement of operational controls

- Coordinate internal and external auditing

- Coordinate BAP/Memo process

**Who are we looking for - Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or Professional Qualifications

- 5 years of work experience in Accounting or Tax functions

- Working experience in a multinational company (desirable)

- Knowledge of accounting standards and reporting principles

- High competency in SAP or any equivalent ERP system & Proficient in using MS Office tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word)

- Good analytical mind, interpreting skill, effective verbal and written communication skills

- Agile mindset & a great team spirit

- Ability to work in a team and in agile environment

- Ambitious and with high potential to grow (internally & globally)

- Fluent English
