As the Finance Director of a company living an exciting growth phase, you will be the right-hand of the Managing Director of the business, providing support to key decision-making and actively contributing to the achievement of the company's strategic goals. Areas of focus include planning, implementation, and managing all the finance activities including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.

Working within a small and dynamic team, you will take a hands-on approach to develop and implement financial processes, systems, and tools.

Key AccountabilitiesFinancial Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement financial strategies and forecasting and scenario planningPartner with senior management to align financial goals with the Companies Strategic objectivesReporting and Analysis:Oversee financial statements, reports. Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to the EXCO and Group CFO to support decision-makingAnalyze production costs, operational expenses, and other financial metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Collaborate with operations to optimize inventory management and procurement processes. Cashflow and Treasury:Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions and oversee treasury functionsEnsure appropriate cashflow management of the business, including forecasts and scenario planningIdentify, assess and manage strategic financial risks faced by the organizationEnsure compliance requirements and adherence to internal and external control policies across financial reporting activitiesPartner with key service providers to maintain accounting and reporting against organizational requirements and implement key tools and systems to ensure effective tracking and reporting. Strategic Financial Decision-Making:Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, and capital allocation strategiesAssess the financial impact of strategic initiatives and advise on their feasibility and profitabilityManage relationships with external financial partners such as auditors, financial institutions and others as requiredCommunicate the businesses financial performance, strategy, and prospects to key stakeholdersLeadership:As a key member of the Executive Team, the Finance Director will contribute to the business leadership and growth, and provide guidance to the finance department and other related teamsEnsure the development and retention of a high-performing finance team and foster a culture of collaboration and excellenceExperience & SkillsDegree in a relevant business field required10+ years' experiences in manufacturing/industrial companyExperience in reporting to and interacting with senior stakeholders: C-suite, banks, etc. Strong business controlling skills and experienceExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on actionable resultsProficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills. Good technical accounting knowledge in local accounting standards and familiarity with IFRSAbility to work independently and take initiative in a resource-constrained, entrepreneurial setting.
