Job Description

The Sr.

Manager, Affiliate Finance reports to the Director Affiliate Finance.

He/she will have responsibilities for the Brand P&L process and will work closely with other Manager affiliate finance in order to harmonize and ensure data reliability and accurate planning and forecast for the brands ensuring country P&L is respected.

**What You'll Do**:

- ** Financial Planning**:

- Lead all aspects of financial planning through close coordination with Brand team leaders and coordinate the Brands FP&A;

- Coordinate the preparation of templates and slide decks for business reviews and annual business plans;

- Collaborate with Decision Support in providing to brand teams with the key business assumptions for the time period being discussed;

- Define narrative to country leadership and at Regional and Corporate level;

- Support in the overall process optimization;

- Providing insights/recommendation on target-setting for brand/franchise teams.

- Provide insights and drive recommendations via various affiliate cross-functional working groups brand related.

Keeps the local management team as well as the international organization abreast of variations to plans/forecast, as well as other important aspects of operating results (and proposed corrective actions), regarding price, volume, spend, patients.

Also preparing quarterly balance sheet review and providing Decision Support as needed.

- Responsible for monitoring ongoing business performance against plans/forecasts.

Review actual vs. Plan fees and services and discuss variations with Brand budget owners.

- As well as FTEs and HC planning and variance analysis.

- Deliver analytics to build the overall outlook of the brands, capturing key insights about current and expected country business performance and provide comprehensive opportunities and risks and/or scenario analysis.

- Inform Country leadership on the future opportunity of the business by combining the business performance view with macroeconomic assessments.

The output is an at least annual narrative (qualitative, quantitative) on the outlook for the country as well as plans/actions to prevent risks, minimize downsides and optimize opportunities.

- Lead Continuous Improvement, digitalization and process optimization.

**Who You Are**:

The role will focus on 5 core responsibilities:

Affiliate business planning processes; Provide insights and drive recommendations for brand-oriented functions within the affiliate;

Support and collaborate in business reviews/affiliate snapshots preparation; Inform Country leadership on the future opportunity of the business by combining the business performance view with macroeconomic assessments;

Lead Continuous Improvement, digitalization and process optimization.

**Qualifications**:

**Required Skills**:

- Bacherlor's Degree in Finance, Accounting,

- Economics or related discipline

- Affiliate/Regional Finance role or MBA/Masters is a plus

- 5 years' experience in a similar position

- Experience in biotech industry strongly desired.

- Ability to work within VUCA environment (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity)

- Experience in working with large ERP is desired (Oracle);

- Experience in working with Hyperion is an advantage;

- Knowledge of Italian GAAP & knowledge of US GAAP;

- Distinctive quantitative and modeling skills are required

- Experience translating financial analysis into strategic recommendations

- Knowledge of MS market/life sciences preferred

- Excellent presentation skills

- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills as well as analytical skills

- Ability to work in a matrix organization;

- Excellent English and local language capabilities

- Combination of affiliate and headquarter experience is a plus
