**Position overview**:
The Finance Manager for Italy entity is responsible for managing all finance, tax, accounting and controlling activities, process and applicable internal and external audits for Italian entity.
In this role you will be responsible for providing information and business advice as appropriate, to the Italian and Corporate Global management.
The Finance Manager will support and review activities performed on behalf of Italy by Finance team in Riga, LV, more in detail sales and payable invoices processing, General ledger activities, Fixed assets activities, Cost accounting, VAT reporting and VAT return preparation and provide the necessary coaching, guidance and leadership to ensure.
**Responsibilities**:
- Take the responsibility that the appropriate high level financial support is given to the local site and regional business team.
- Responsible for following the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing and reporting schedule according to IFRS and Group guidelines and on yearly base for ITA GAAP.
Ensure that the deadlines are fully met.
- Ensure full compliance with Local Gaap, Management Gaap and tax and all Italian legal compliance filings i. e.
all company ledgers requested by civil code.
- Coordinate the Italian Tax returns and annual accounts and ensure they are prepared in accordance with the deadlines and all taxes correctly accrued, paid and accounted for.
- Responsible for internal and external financial audits and contacts.
- Monitor the entity's business performance and provide analysis and advise in order to improve allnex's profitability.
- Coordinate and prepare the entity's rolling forecast and estimate process.
- Support and participate in local, regional and global projects / initiatives and ensure corporate initiatives are implemented in Italy.
- Ensure timely and effective communication of material and unusual transactions to the business analysis team.
**Required skills and experience**:
- 3-5 years in financial controlling position in a corporate environment, preferably in comparable industry - manufacturing, chemical or other.
- Education background in accounting, finance and/or economics.
- Practical knowledge of local and IFRS GAAP standards.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and under stress.
- Fluent English skills - written and verbal.
