Treasury and Senior Finance Executive Search, EuropeOur client is a US headquartered multinational, looking for a finance lead for their office in Lissone, Italy.

Role Summary: The Finance Manager has responsibility for managing all aspects of the accounting department and performing a variety of activities to support the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer.

They will provide financial advice and support to help senior managers and executives make key decisions.

Responsibilities include: Management of and responsibility for the Finance department and its operationsProduction and review of financial statements for European entitiesProject revenue recognition by Percentage of Completion (POC)Ensure statutory and tax complianceFinancial analysis and commentaryReview business performance with executive and senior managementProduction of annual budgetsManage relationships with banks, external consultants and outsourced service providersCashflow forecasting and reporting, including foreign exchange riskImplementation, development and maintenance of financial systems and toolsReview financial processes and implement improvement plansDeliver on special projects as requiredThe Candidate: Accounting qualification or degreeMinimum 10 years' experience in a similar finance management roleExperience implementing financial or ERP softwareExperience using Sage is desirableExperience in Percentage of Completion (POC) calculationsIT literate (Microsoft Office), with Excellent Excel skills. Leadership or management experienceFluent in Italian and EnglishGood communicator – verbal and written at all levels. Confident and assertiveAbility to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentResourceful, good problem-solving skills, attention to detail and highly dependable. Good organisation, time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
