ROLE SUMMARY:

The Finance Manager will have joint responsibilities in FP&A and accounting activities.

The position will touch all areas of the business, including network operations, sales operations support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Participate in month-end close activities, including the preparation and review of journal entries, summary financials and variance analysis

- Liaison with international team members to ensure accurate and timely sharing of financial information, including intercompany transactions, cash requirements and payroll transactions.

- Supervise the accounting team and mentor junior staff

- Support accounting activities for Vice and Pulse Italia (two entities)

- Prepare schedules for quarterly reviews and year-end audit for independent external auditors and FS.

Research issues, clarify information, and prepare supporting data

- Assist in the departmental budgeting process and presenting monthly financials to key stakeholders, including commercial, production and network executive department

- In conjunction with the Finance Lead, develop network annual operating budget and long range plan

- Responsible for preparation and review of the General Ledger and Trial Balance

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

- 5+ years' experience in financial analysis or public accounting

- Experience/solid understanding of fundamental accounting concepts namely accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets capitalization

- Must have advanced proficiency with Excel, including experience with pivot tables, charting, and financial formulas

- Prior knowledge of media industry preferred

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Desire to work in a fast paced environment and ability to adapt to change quickly
