Finance Manager
Job Description
The Finance Manager acts as local leader in coordinating and supervising accounting and tax activities, acting as a focal point for both affiliate and GBS and relevant stakeholders (Statutory Auditors, External Auditors, Internal Audit, Tax Consultants, Payroll provider).
Identifies savings opportunities by working closely with the business.
Ability to speak "multiple languages" (i. e.
financial and operational)
Responsible for ensuring proper US GAAP and Italian GAAP accounting.
Based on GBS-country model for AP, OTC and RTR, the local finance manager is responsible for: payroll accounting, F24 / F23 social contribution, AIFA payback and promotional tax, OTL, Revenue accounting and other activities as detailed in GBS RTR process inventory.
Responsible for preparation and filing of local financial statements.
Responsible for Fiscal matters and filings related to VAT, Corporate Income Tax (IRAP / IRES), withholding tax, 770 declaration and VAT refund, to be executed in coordination with Corporate Tax, Tax consultants and service providers.
It might include activities to comply with and/or execute APA (Advanced Pricing Agreement), TP documentation (Transfer Price) and LRD (Limited risk Distributor).
Coordinate external and internal Audit.
Manage and coordinate meetings with Collegio Sindacale (Statutory Auditors), ODV (Vigilance committee) and Coordinate Italian statutory BoD and Shareholder meetings.
Responsible for Sox controls and Black Line Reconciliation.
In collaboration with HR provide direction and input to external payroll provider, specifically finance is responsible for: Car related benefits, RSU, ESPP (deduction and tax treatment), payroll deductions.
Audit of Incentive Plan payout.
Reconciliation of GL with Payroll Provider.
Manage RSU, MSU, CSPU and ESPP data transfer with Corporate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Finance
- 5 years' experience in Finance in a similar role within a multinational company.
- Solid ERP systems knowledge, ORACLE preferre
Additional Information
- USGAAP and Italian GAAP, with focus on Revenue Recognition;
- Italian Fiscal and VAT requirements (including transfer pricing);
- Preparation and filing of Statutory Financial Statements (Bilancio Civilistico);
- SOX environment;
- Excellent english;
- Communications skills;
- Ability to create effective and empathic relationship with internal and external stakeholders;
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Analytical thinking and accuracy, attention to details;
- Positive thinking attitude;
- FP&A previous experience might represent a plus;
- Ability to work, navigate and play a pivotal role within an international network;
