Reporting directly to the Financial Controller Southern Europe and Africa (who acts as CFO for Italian Entity), the Finance Manager for Italy will be responsible for the integrity of the group and statutory reporting for Italy and for all the aspects related to finance and accounting.

This role is a **temporary position** for 12-15 months, with a possibility of conversion to permanent.

Duties & Responsibilities

The main responsibilities are:

- Motivates the team and ensures the growth and development initiatives of directly reporting employees.

- Financial reporting to support the Chief Financial Officer (including ONYX, DMP, SAP and IA).

- Preparation of the Statutory Financial Statements supported by the external provider.

- End-to-end responsibility for financial processes performed in Italy.

- Management of the budget approval process.

- Prepares reports for the Management Team (Company Budget and Forecast, Turnover, Headcount, Accounting and P&L as required).

- Control and reconciliation of financial data.

- Management of active invoicing and revenue review.

- Management of the Credit Compliance Check for customers and Customer Loans Reporting.

- Cash flow management and credit recovery.

- Management of relations with the accounting service provider in order to prepare and settle taxes and contributions.

- Manages and coordinates relations with banking institutions and management of the issue of guarantees / sureties / leasing.

- Management and coordination with external providers for Tax Returns.

- Asset valuation and asset inventory management.

- Car fleet management and relations with leasing companies in support of the HR Manager.

- Manages relationships with American Express and monitors related reports.

- Checks the correct insertion and updating of customer and supplier data in the AX (Master Data) system.

- Implementation of SAP in Italy

The Individual

- Relevant bachelor's degree and/or accounting qualification.

- Proven professional experience in financial reporting, financial statements, budget planning and other day-to-day accounting activities (Invoicing, sales contracts reviews, month-end close, Bank reconciliation, etc).

- Team player with demonstrated ability to influence and build strong trusted working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Leadership experience whether directly or indirectly.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work with a global footprint organization and meet deadlines.

- Advanced knowledge of SAP is required.

- Fluent in Italian and English
