JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

The position searched for is inside the Finance Audit Team of Allianz Italy, one of the 3 top Organization Entities within the Allianz SE Group together with Germany and France.

The Team deals with verifying the adequacy of the following processes of Allianz S. p. A. and its insurance subsidiaries: Investments, General and industrial accounting, Tax, Financial planning and control, Risk management, Corporate actuarial and Actuarial pricing.

The position holder has in particular strong skills both in Accounting (local GAAP, IAS/IFRS) and in Risk management pursuant to Solvency II (pillar 1, 2 and 3) and is oriented to advise managers by: 1) identifying business risks and key controls, 2) assessing controls for design deficiencies, 3) proposing ways to remediate control failures and 4) generating feasible recommendations for improvement of the internal control framework of the audited processes.

The workplace is in Milan (Allianz Tower), with possible short stays abroad for either activities in international working groups or in audits within international teams.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

**The person deals primarily with***:

Managing and executing audit assignments relating to processes of:

- General accounting: determination of balance sheet items according to national (Italian GAAP) and international (IAS / IFRS) accounting principles

- Risk Management: mainly Solvency II framework in Pillar 1 (MVBS, SCR, MCR, Own Funds), Pillar 2 qualitative risk management (ORSA Report) and Pillar 3 regulatory reporting such as Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR), RSR, QRTs. . .

- Industrial accounting of an insurance company (cash transaction, premium collections. . . )

- Data quality issues within the financial areas audited

Communicating effectively with stakeholder from all hierarchy levels with reference to deficiencies and recommendation for remediation

Carrying out risk assessment activities on the processes under the responsibilities of the Finance Audit Team

Exchanging actively info with the Sister Functions (Compliance, Risk Management and Actuarial Function) on risk and control issues

Participating in the Expert Circles organized by Group Audit of Allianz SE on financial matters

**In a complementary way** the person also participates in international working groups on Finance Audit topics (i. e.

: drafting of audit work programs, audit ideas generation) or/and in international teams for Finance Audit assignments (i. e.

: Mercato)

**KEY REQUIREMENTS

**Experience

- At least 6/7 years of experience with roles played in the Financial Services Industry: Accounting and/or Risk Management and/or Internal Audit Finance Department of an Insurance Company, External Auditor in Insurance Industry, Consulting/Advisory in the Insurance Industry.

**Education/Technical Skills

- Strong academic background alternatively in Business Administration, Economics, Quantitative Methods

- Strong skills in Financial Insurance Statements (IVASS), Consolidation and IFRS Reporting Package, Accounting administrative processes

- Good skills in Risk Management Solvency II three pillars: MVBS, SCR, MCR, OF, ORSA, SFCR, RSR, QRTs

- IFRS 9/17 knowledge is a plus

- Fluent in Italian and in English both spoken and written
