We're looking for a Financial Analyst, to reinforce the team in our Italy office! Main ResponsibilitiesWork within bid teams to deliver financial models, costs, price and detailed scenario analysis to influence business strategy decisions within the bidProvide expert modelling as required throughout the business e. g. supporting customer negotiations, operating forecasts etc. Provide support to the bid governance process, identifying financial and commercial risks for discussionPlay a role in ensuring compliance and standards relating to financial modellingMaintain expertise in financial reporting requirementsConsider accounting treatments under IFRS, liaising with Group Finance, as appropriateSuccessful CandidateStrong intellectRelevant professional financial qualification (or equivalent combination of relevant alternative professional qualification and relevant financial experience)Ability to interpret financial information to aid decision-makingCapacity to handle demanding and fluctuating workloadThoroughness and attention to detail with a steadiness under pressureEnergy and tenacityTeam playerStrong communication skills to work with a range of people across the businessExperience of effective working in bid teamsFinancial reporting expertiseUnderstanding of insurance, employment law etcDemonstrable track record of innovative thinkingImplementation of new processes and systemsAdditional/special features of the roleOpportunity to input into new business and influence strategyOpportunity to operate individually and within a teamCapacity to develop commercial skills and risk management capabilitiesStrong history of progression from this role to other areas in the businessOpportunity to work across European, multi-disciplinary bidsAbout the CompanySerco is a leading provider of public services.
