General Role

- The Financial Controller will be assigned to the Finance Department where he/she will report directly to the Financial Controlling Manager providing day-by-day financial management while ensuring compliance with the local requirement and Group procedures.

He/she will support the financial controlling activities for all boutiques in Italy and Greece.

His/her main goal include but are not limited to support the Financial Controlling Manager in order to:

- ensure structured, in-depth budget planning, based on reliable information provided by the management systems

- ensure the reliability and integrity of financial information by performing these processes in order to ensure their compliance in real-time

Main responsibilities

- Main Responsibilities:

- Prepare under the supervision of the Financial controlling Manager quarterly closings (reporting package IFRS) for the Group

- Prepare the accruals for quarterly closing and perform the related variance analysis

- Perform monthly analysis and follow up of retail margin, general expenses and investments

- Prepare the basis of the calculation of operating provisions (including provisions on stocks)

- Manage database and check consistency with the accounting dept in order to ensure that data are complete and accurate

- Monthly check of accounting schedule in order to guarantee an accurate GL booking

- Support the creation of budgets and re-estimations of the subsidiary income statements (i. e.

turnover, margin, general expenses, communication, rents)

Retail activity:

Elaborate income statements per boutique and carry out analytical reviews

- Monitor and control boutique personnel costs and create monthly reports

- Monitor and control any other boutique operational expenses

Communication:

Monitor communication projects across all areas

- Follow up of communication costs in collaboration with communication department

Profile

- Bachelor's (required) and Master's degree (preferred) in Economics Sciences or similar

- 2/3 years in finance and controlling area

- Languages: excellent knowledge of Italian and English; French and Greek would be a plus

- Strong analytical skills and strong knowledge in accounting and IFRS

- Flexibility to travel

- Proficiency in Excel, BI and information systems (SAP)

- Respect of deadlines

- Strong sense of integrity
