Within the Group Strategic Planning, Monitoring & Control Area - Unit Italy function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team. The Controller will support the main activities related to the collection and analysis of monthly, actuals and forecast/plan data, IFRS17 based. Key responsibilities of the role will include: Support the data collection of monthly and quarterly KPIs using Excel/Tagetik tools Support the collection of main IFRS17 KPI's for the Italy perimeter (forecast and plan) through several tools (Excel, Tagetik, SAC) Support the monitoring and analysis of key performance indicators focusing on Country Italy financials, evaluating also the relevant impacts on Group Results Support the aggregation/reporting and the target setting/target assessment activities with regard to Italy perimeter, evaluating also the implications on Group Results/main KPIs Supporting the frequent interaction with local controlling at Country Italy Requirements Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Economics, Finance, Actuarial, Mathematics or Engineering 2-5 years of previous experiences in Finance or Actuarial department Proficiency of primary IT programs (Excel, PowerPoint, etc. ) Fluency in English and Italian Knowledge of IFRS17 and IFRS9 principles is appreciated Knowledge of Tagetik/SAC is appreciated Soft skills: Good analytical skills Curious and proactive attitude open to changes Good communication skills and team work Company Profile Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry – a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
