Financial Controller - OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller from a hospitality background to take the next step towards their career progression and join our Finance team at Generator.

You will ensure that all accounting processes and procedures are completed efficiently and accurately.

The role will be key to financial and operating reporting and an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to add significant value to the business as part of the senior management team on property.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOBPrepare and review monthly management accounts and property reportsOversee all financial accounts, prepare financial statements and liaise with external auditors to ensure annual audits are carried outTake responsibility for property cash flow, preparing weekly and monthly cash flow forecastsPrepare and supervise banking operations, oversee loans and other financial instrumentsManage the preparation of annual budgets with the GM & Produce quarterly forecastsSupervise the day-to-day operations e. g.

credit control, payroll, flash reportsPrepare benchmarking analysis on key financial revenues/expenditureManage and supervise the Accounts Payable function and purchase proceduresWork as a business partner with the management team and GMCommunicate effectively and appropriately in all directions so that all teams understand their financial responsibilities and are motivated to achieve themSupport the Group CFO and Head of Operational Finance on finance projects as requiredNaturally this is not intended as an exhaustive list of duties.
