We're looking for a new Financial Controller with a strong enough grasp of the figures to balance managing hotel assets, maintaining a centralized accounting environment, and making accurate forecasts. The new Financial Controller will directly report to the General Manager of the hotel, supervising a team of 4 people. Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:Directing everyday financial activity and empowering your team to deliver in their rolesMaking sure guest bills are accurate and helping resolve any queriesEnsuring financial control procedures are ethical and legalPreparing financial analysis and budgets – as well as reviewing rates and taking part in sales strategy meetingsManaging accounts payable to balance cash flow and protect our reputation with our suppliersDrawing down the monthly P&L Report and build the financial statementAnalyzing the variance between P&L items and budget objectivesElaborating and updating the periodical forecast for the hotelMonitoring the performance audit area to achieve efficient resultsWhat we need from youBachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting or FinanceOr three years in hotel accounting or internal audit with one year in a supervisory roleOr an equivalent combination of education and experienceMust speak fluent EnglishWe welcome everyone and create inclusive teams where we celebrate differences and encourage colleagues to bring their whole selves to work.
