Your role We are seeking a Group FP&A Analyst, based in Peschiera Borromeo (Milan-Italy) but directly reporting to the Group FP&A Leader, with a strong analytical mindset and excellent technical skills to support our group financial reporting and data analysis functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on analyzing large datasets, developing reporting tools, and automating financial insights. You will play a key role in building the group reporting infrastructure, providing analysis and insights in the Group FP&A team, creating dashboards, and enhancing reporting efficiency using Excel, Power BI, and SQL. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain financial reporting templates and data models to improve efficiency and accuracy. Manage large datasets, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accessibility for key stakeholders. Design and automate financial dashboards and reports using Power BI, SQL, and Excel to improve decision-making. Perform variance analysis to compare actuals vs. forecasts, identify trends, and explain key financial movements. Work closely with country FP&A teams to harmonize templates and business KPIs. Provide insights into cost drivers, revenue trends, and operational performance based on data analysis. Support ad hoc financial and operational analysis as required. Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and implement process improvements. Required Qualifications & Skills: 3 – 5 years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or FP&A in any industry. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a Science discipline. Expert-level Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and automation techniques. Proficiency in Power BI and SQL for data analysis, visualization, and reporting automation. Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze large datasets and provide meaningful insights. Experience conducting variance analysis, identifying key drivers, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Must be Fluent in English. Strong communication skills to present insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Willing to travel at least once a month to Switzerland or other European countries. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): Italian speaking (B1 is sufficient). Experience in financial modeling and scenario analysis. Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools.
