Financial Services Project Manager
What you'll need to have
- Knowledge, experience and competence skills connected to Financial Services.
- Have passed the national test (section A of RUI - Registro Unico degli Intermediari - IVASS) to be an official Insurance Broker is nice to have
- Be registred in section A of RUI (Registro Unico degli Intermediari - IVASS) as an official Insurance Broker is nice to have
- Experience negotiating with financial institutions
- Experience implementing financial solutions within the banking industry
- Experience from the banking industry
- Good knowledge on revenue, cost and risk drivers within financial services
- Good knowledge of digital and IT within the financial and payment industry
- Good knowledge in payment types & global payment infrastructure
- General knowledge of the financial industry - schemes, acquirers, issuing banks, customer offers, data flows and reporting
- Degree in Business Administration/Finance or similar experience
- Italian and English Fluent
- Knowledge and Experience in Project Management
- Excellent coordinator able to handle many interfaces and tasks
- Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in an inspirational way
- Ability to prioritise, take decisions and delegate
- Ability to manage a high degree of uncertainty in a complex context
- Skilled in data management
- Very good knowledge of project management processes including methods and tools; scope, time, cost, risk, quality, communication, procurement and how to integrate these processes
- Very good knowledge of change management methods and tools
- Good Knowledge of coaching technique
What you'll be doing day to day
- Be the primary point of contact for the project, building effective relationships with stakeholders and partners to gain buy-in and full cooperation so that the project objectives are achieved
- Track and manage dependencies and interfaces in the project, between projects and with the line organization
- Define and sequence activities in the project, estimating duration, developing the schedule, controlling progress
- Plan resource, estimating, costs, setting and controlling the budget
- Secure and lead a competent and high performing project team, involving appropriate competence and ensuring team cohesion
- Manage communication flow to stakeholders by planning and distributing relevant information at appropriate times and forums
- Secure the identification, mitigation and control of risk
- Procure external service providers/vendors where necessary, continually securing an effective relationship and managing performance
- Manage change by engaging stakeholders and identifying learning and communication activities
- Coach and/or mentor project members and peers to develop project management competence in IKEA
- Secure that the project is reviewed and evaluated, with learnings documented
