We are looking for a Junior Commissioning and Service Engineerfor Fire Safety, Intrusion, Access Control and CCTV systems, to be hired with a permanent contract in our Services Smart Infrastructure division at our headquarters in Milan.

Siemens Smart Infrastructures acts as a technology partner service and product provider, and system integrator.

We offer solutions and services related to personal safety, building security and automation, and climate management of environments.

Your challenge

With reference toSecurity and Safety products and systems, the role the role of Junior commissioning and service engineer involves commissioning activities for new installations, and maintenance activities on existing sites.

Activities will be mainly performed at production sites or construction sites both in Italy and abroad.

Job placement includes inside technical training, to be followed by on-the-job coaching with expert technicians.

Opportunities are offered to grow professionally and technically in a dynamic, collaborative and highly professional environment.

Primarily performs technical tasks such as programming and commissioning of products and systems, integration of third-party components into the Siemens BMS, and maintenance tasks

Support and commissioning using innovative digital solutions and tools (developed by headquarters)

Supports customer remotely and onsite and provides support in case of arising issues.

Coordinates on site operations and delivery activities and controls the execution according to the organizational guidelines.

Ensure that the project follows execution best practices and Siemens policies. Effectively monitors and controls project progress.

May be involved in technical design and developments for commissioning/service offerings.

Comply with health, safety and environmental rules and policies applicable to each location.

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:

Technical High School Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Information technologies/Electrical/Automation Engineering

Basic knowledge of the contents of UNI 9795 and 11224

Knowledge of popular computer technologies: desktop and server Windows operating systems, IP networks

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge and ability to read electrical panel diagrams.

Passionate and prepared to manage issues related to technological innovation and, to prioritize effectively.

Strong orientation to reach the targets and customer satisfaction, initiative, autonomy, and propensity to work in team.

Available to frequent business trips on national level, and sometimes also international

Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken

Willingness to learn about new and innovative technologies.
