Firmware Engineer
TMC Italia is looking for a Firmware Engineer to work on low-level development with hardware, software, and electronics engineers on innovative projects within the electronic instrumentation domain.
About this vacancy We are seeking candidates with prior experience of low-level Firmware development preferably targeting 8/16/32-bit PIC Microcontrollers. Primary responsibilities will include:
Developing 8/16/32-bit micro-controllers for a different range of electronic instrumentation products Testing and debugging of embedded firmware Redaction of Documentation Support and maintenance of firmware What we expect from you Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering (5 years) or equivalent Demonstrated 2+ years work experience on embedded solution comprising microcontrollers Fluent English Advanced knowledge of C and C++ Hands-on experience with Kernel Linux Experience with firmware testing (unit, regression etc. ) Experience with Hardware/Software debugging tools such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol sniffers Knowledge of standard Microcontroller peripherals like TIMERS, UART, NVIC, SPI, CAN, etc. Critical comprehension of electrical schematic Experience in using common electrical debug tool (e. g. : scopes, DMM, bench power supply) Team Working attitude What you can expect from us TMC is an international high-tech consultancy company that brings expertise to their clients in order to support them with the realization of their technological challenges.
