First Line Manager

**Role Overview
The First Line Manager (FLM) will be leading the dedicated OralCare Team, either traditional and remote.
The primary responsibility of the role is for the hiring, onboarding, coaching, and driving performance of the individuals on the team.
The FLM will ensure that each individual is set up for success, ensure that they are engaging with targeted HCPs across Dental Hygienists, Dentists and selected Pharmacies both remotely and face to face with the appropriate channels and are hitting the KPI's agreed in the contract with the client.
**Responsibilities
- Deliver and exceed targets for the designated target markets across Italy within the defined timeframes and budget.
- Ensure the team are engaging in HCP value-based interactions using any insights through collaboration with the internal client team, whilst ensuring alignment to national and regional /seasonal launch strategy.
- Coach, develop and manage performance across the team through regular visits or remote interactions carrying out in field performance reviews.
- Work closely with the SYNH Project Director to ensure performance tracking is accurate for client reporting purposes.
- Act as the interface between the market and the SYNH and client Governance Team on all insights and feedback.
- Responsible for the management of day-to-day tasks such as holiday, sickness, and expense sign offs.
- Deliver other key performance indicators as directed.
- Successfully complete and support the team to complete the distance learning and initial training programme.
- Use of CRM system and other dedicated tools to review the teams planning, sequential selling, and territory analysis.
- Identify and assess opportunities where the representative believe that value can be added, present prudent business cases for additional investment consideration.
- Ensure the team develop long-term business relationships with HCPs enabling them to protect the progressive business from the threat of future competition.
- Leading regional and national team meetings to drive a culture of collaboration, support and sharing best practice.
- Comply with all Syneos Health and client SOPs and codes of ethical practice.
**Requirements**:
- Qualified to BSC level with a life sciences degree as a minimum.
- Valid Clean Driver's License.
- Demonstrable evidence of building a high performing field-based team.
- Previous experience of leadership in a similar market would be preferred.
- Enthusiastic, high energy, leader with a "can do" attitude.
- Outstanding communicator with exceptional negotiation skills.
- Strong drive for achievement and willingness to challenge the status quo to deliver results.
- Outstanding Business planning, management, and organisation skills.
