We are looking for an individual contributor to join the Enterprise Procurement team to focus on Fixed Network Infrastructure across Comcast Cable, Sky, and NBCUniversal.

This category includes Routers, Switches, and Optical Transport hardware, as well as the Services involved in deploying and maintaining the hardware.

This role reports to the Head of Procurement which is based in sky UK.

**Job Description**:

- Ability to think logically and deconstruct complex business problems into smaller, more solvable parts

- Solid organizational and project management skills to execute strategy effectively & efficiently

- Ability to pivot/update strategy as requirements and market conditions changes

- Effective written and oral communications skills

- Experience in interacting with and presenting to leadership and stakeholders at a variety of levels

- Ability to interpret data and drive reporting with strong financial/analytical skills and high attention to detail, ultimately distilling complex analyses and messages into clear executive-level presentations

Core Responsibilities:

- Support the development and execution of category sourcing strategy that drives value and strong outputs

- Data analysis: aggregate data, build business cases, spend analysis, savings tracking, and vendor offer comparisons

- Translate data analyses into audience-appropriate presentations to guide decision-making

- Develop and manage market-facing activities - this includes managing RFPs, Business Review, master agreements, and SOWs

- Execute negotiation strategies; assist in negotiating favorable commercial and contractual terms and conditions

- Assist with managing supplier performance and relationships - this includes giving suppliers feedback on performance, continuous improvement, and innovation; detecting performance issues and determining root causes and working with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive an efficient resolution

- Partner with multiple business units across international geographies (e. g.

Technology, Finance, Legal, Procurement across the US, UK, ITA, DE)

- Understand changing technology market conditions and align/update strategy to meet business requirements and mitigate risk

- Work with Comcast procurement systems and tools to effectively manage projects and report results, outcomes, savings

- Gain and maintain category expertise in our rapidly evolving areas

- Special Projects - Contribute to special projects across the Enterprise Procurement team (supplier diversity, communications, process improvements, learning & development, etc.

)

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree, with 7+ years related experience.

Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations, Computer Science, or other technical areas preferred, but other majors accepted with the right work experience

- Technical category experience preferred

- Consulting experience and Cable/Telecom experience are a plus

- Must be highly proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint

- Undergraduate university degree
