Flight Operations Engineer & Dispatch OfficerLocation: VeronaDepartment: Flight OperationsThe Flight Operations Engineer & Dispatch Officer is a dual-role position responsible for managing the technical engineering aspects of flight operations while overseeing dispatch activities to ensure smooth and efficient airline operations.

This role is critical in ensuring compliance with safety standards, optimizing performance, and maintaining operational excellence. Main Functions:Maintain, test and update the AODB and the aircraft performance software;Develop and implement strategies to optimize flight performance;Conduct technical assessments and provide engineering support for flight operations;Analyse flight data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement;Ensure aircraft performance meets regulatory and safety standards;Oversee dispatch activities, including flight planning and coordination;Ensure all flights are dispatched in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies;Monitor ATC/ANSP updates and other factors affecting flight operations;Provide comprehensive support and training to the Operations Control Team. Requirements:High School Degree in Aeronautics (Bachelor Degree may represent a plus), or proven experience in aviation operational departments such as OCC, Dispatch or FOE;Strong critical thinking and analytical skills;Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Familiarity with other software may represent a plus);Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken;Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
