We are looking for a highly skilled Floating Offshore Substation Package Manager (FOSS PM) with knowledge from the Renewable/Infrastructure industry to join our team in Milan and become part of our global team of industry professionals at Copenhagen Offshore Partners.
As Floating Offshore Substation Package Manager your primary task will be to deliver the Floating Offshore Substation Package Scope design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
The position is based in Milan and reports to the EPC Director.
A key part of this role is to deliver as a team and collaborate with the wider package team, package manager peers, EPC project-support and control functions as well as steer external designers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
**You will support initiatives including**:
Identification of requirements and definition of scope of works
Roadmap to secure timely certified design, fabrication, and installation for the projects
Mobilization and leadership of team and resources
Manage procurement and ensure timely contracting of packages
Identify and manage interfaces to other packages, and secure optimal scope/risk/cost balance
Manage internal
- and external engineering and design works
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and certification requirements
Coordinate and provide support to other functions and packages such as permitting, due diligence, and O&M preparation
Documentation, required for the relevant project stages, decisions, assessments etc.
Design reviews focused on health, safety, quality, and value engineering
To succeed in this role, you have the following qualifications and experience:
Demonstrated project management experience from executing an offshore substation through construction phase and preferably PMP(PMI) qualified
Strong technical understanding of the scope and associated supply chain
Strong commercial understanding and proven experience with procurement, contracting and negotiation on international level
Leadership skill with ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
Global mindset being responsive to local and remote sparring, inputs, and requests
Perseverance and an ability to prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines
Team oriented mind-set and strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Proactive and co-operative way of working and high attention to detail
Business awareness and understanding of the key drivers and levers that influence business performance
