Description
The Beverage Server is responsible for providing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage and food services and sales to guests on the Casino floor in an efficient, courteous and professional manner displaying a high standard of guest service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides prompt, efficient and courteous service to guests on the Casino floor, obtaining and accurately entering drink and food orders into a POS system. Monitors guests needs on a continual basis, ensuring quality and accuracy of orders being served. Remains knowledgeable on all menu items, with emphasis on mix drinks and beer, offering suggestions and support to guests as needed. Safeguards TRCR assets and balances banks accordingly. Reports to management all guest concerns, complaints, or suggestions in a continuous effort to provide superior guest service. Completes all required side duties as assigned, ensuring stations are stocked for following shift. Complies with all gaming regulations regarding alcohol sales. Provides exceptional guest service by having an exceptional attitude when dealing with guests and fellow Team Members. May be asked to provide room service for hotel guests. Other duties as directed by management. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours. Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently. Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old. Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card/OLCC License within 30 days of employment. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means. Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing. Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission. Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events. #J-18808-Ljbffr
