Description
The Blue Bills Food Server is responsible for the sales and service of Food and Beverage items to guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner, displaying a high standard of guest service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greets guests and takes food and drink orders in a timely manner and accurately enters orders into a POS system. Promptly busses tables throughout guest dining experiences and prepares tables for turnover. Monitors guests needs on a continual basis, ensuring quality, accuracy and food quality. Stays knowledgeable on all menu items, offering suggestions and support to guests as needed. Maintains the cleanliness and organization of all food storage areas, dining areas, and service stations. Safeguards Three Rivers Casino assets and balances assigned banks accurately. Reports to management all guest concerns, complaints, or suggestions in a continuous effort to provide superior guest service. Completes all required side duties as assigned, ensuring wait stations are stocked for following shift. Provides exceptional guest service by having an exceptional attitude when dealing with guests and fellow Team Members. Closely follows the F&B department health and personal hygiene policy. Other duties as directed by management. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours. Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently. Must regularly lift and /or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old. Possess or obtain Food Handlers Card/OLCC Permit within 30 days of employment. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means. Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing. Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission. Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.
