Food & Beverage Key Customer Manager
Local Unit & Position Description:
We are looking for a sales professional to join us for the role of **Key Customer Food & Beverage Manager **in DNV Business Assurance Italy.
**The main responsibilities will include**:
- Actively build relations with decision makers and influencers in the Key Customer's organization, enabling deep understanding and foresight of customer needs.
- Development and maintenance of annual Key Customer plan.
The plan shall include background information, business development targets and actions.
- Follow up progress of Key Customer annual plan and reporting of target fulfilment.
- Actively participate in local and global sales & marketing activities and capture opportunities through customer meetings, proposal writing, contracting and after-sales action reviews.
- Identification of leads and leading work for converting leads into contracts.
- Actively participate and/or follow up proactive activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keep track of Key Customer's contract portfolio also ensuring renewal of agreements within due date.
- Responsibility to ensure that the Key Customer's accounts receivable meets the company requirements.
- Follow up DNV customer economy, i. e.
revenue, profitability and accounts receivables for best long term financial results.
- Facilitation of marketing and sales efforts of relevant parts of DNV to the Key Customer.
- Reporting of goal achievements.
- Ensure prompt and adequate follow up of after-sales issues, requests and support.
- Managing quote issue and technical needs to provide an appropriate quote to the client in line with the rules of the scheme owner.
- Manage quote processing.
- Behave to secure that brand reputation and integrity values are adherent to the objectives, the values and vision of DNV during sales activities
The role expects flexibility and availability to travel.
Position Qualifications:
- Educated to business or scientific university degree level
- Previous experience of minimum 5 years working in sales and customer management and a strong business sense
- Excellent English language skills (both written and spoken)
- Dynamic, goals-oriented, proactive approach
- High level of business acumen, including an understanding of the customer's business drivers, industry, economic trends, issues and competition
- Strong network within corporate procurement/sustainability professionals in Italy
- Knowledge of certification services, expecially in Food Industry will be considered a preferential requirement

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenges in cooperation with others.
