BREAK THE ICE! Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
The candidate will be part of the Food & Beverage Team and have the role of Operations Manager for the FA. The candidate will define and manage functional needs and venue requirements, including spaces for the FNB FA to be able to provide services in both Competition and Non-Competition Venues. The candidate will also be responsible for logistics needs, including FF&E and TECH requirements and will participate in and coordinate venue operational planning and integration activities.
The candidate will liaise with all relevant functional areas and direct and manage the Food and Beverage Planning Coordinators and their teams. They will also be in charge of coordinating readiness, training and integration programmes for staff and volunteers.
He/She will be involved in the following activities:
Define and manage functional needs and venue requirements; Be responsible for logistic needs, including FF&E and TECH requirements; Participate in Venue Operational Planning and Integration Activities; Liaising with all relevant internal stakeholders; Manage the Food and Beverage Planning Coordinators and their teams; Coordinate readiness, training and integration programmes for staff and volunteers; Directly reporting to the "Head of FNB" to plan and organize the work of the FA; Be an effective communicator through means of presentations, written briefs and in informal settings. Requirements Previous experience and general knowledge of the Food & Beverage industry; Teamwork attitude; Adaptability to the needs and unexpected events of the required work; Problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations; English and Italian must-have, other languages a plus; MS Office.
