We are looking for FOOTWEAR COLLECTION SPECIALIST to implement our EUROPEAN COLLECTION DEPARTMENT.
The main focus will be to manage the product style for KIDS footwear and other categories, looking for collection's congruence in terms of customer target, sales price, and trends.
Engage with marketing, merchandising, and global product development teams in order to strengthen the collection effect in Europe.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Collection Creation Build the collection balancing the range according to the different target consumers Set up the right commercial product range in line with company strategy In season management of the collection review to maximize range, sales, and profit Analyze competitor product ranges and actions to ensure we are above and upfront from them Source range from best suppliers/vendors/brands to achieve optimum margin to maximize profitability Propose actions for poor performing collection items Market & Business management Research market target customer throughout digital, fairs, store visits, and networking Know the market and competition well and be up to speed with trend activity Meet deadlines in buying calendars Work with the Planners to ensure to build a proper collection according to the strategy Interface with all different functions of the business i. e.
planning, merchandising, marketing Ensure the information flow at all times Visit periodically stores to assess the value of our product & needs along with analyzing the competitors brands: for pre-line and sell-in in order to build the collection REQUIREMENTS Market awareness (consumer, brands, competitors) Competent in Microsoft Office Analytical thinking Problem Solving and Result Oriented Decision Making Comfort with working to tight deadlines Team Player WORK LOCATION: Possibility of working in Smart Working for part of the week after an initial on-site training period Seniority level Entry level Employment type Contract Job function Product Management and Design Industries: Retail, Retail Apparel and Fashion, and Retail Luxury Goods and Jewelry #J-18808-Ljbffr
