Four Corners is a recruiter specialized in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Fashion, Luxury and Lifestyle market.

On behalf of an important Sport Fashion Company, we are looking for a:

**Footwear Designer Sport-Performance

As part of the Product and Design Team, the Footwear Designer Sport-Performance will be responsible for:

- Work with the product team in setting product line direction;

- Create and present upper, midsole, and outsole sketches for in-line product based on direction provided by marketing briefs, design briefs and by the manager;

- Create and present upper, midsole, and outsole sketches for made-to-order/special makeup products based on directions given by product management, sales management and customers;

- Be proficient at creating technical drawings for different footwear components such as midsoles, outsoles and/or molded upper pieces;

- Work, cooperate and assist the product developers in the development of new products and made-to-order/special makeup products each season by creating detailed, executable and cost-effective technical footwear development packages;

- Create color renderings of in-line shoes for review and presentation;

- Assist in the creation and development of marketing needs, sales tools, and promotional items;

- Travel as necessary to Asia, trade shows, retailers, or other external events;

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in industrial design or related field;

- At least 4 years of work experience in a similar role;

- Strong sketching and color rendering capability;

- Understanding of footwear construction and materials and Product Development;

- Computer hardware and software proficiency as it relates to design work.

Mac based design environment.

Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Alias SketchBook Pro proficiency is a must.

SensAble Freeform, Autodesk Maya and Rhinoceros experience is a plus;

- Ability to work in a team environment; effective communication and presentation skills and flexibility;

- Ability to work professionally and effectively with all departments, including Sales, Marketing, Production, etc.

- Intermediate English level and at least basic Italian level.
