Footwear Developer & Pattern maker

We are looking for a Footwear Developer & Pattern maker that will be responsible for the research and development of new footwear products from the approved brief until the mass production start.

Responsibilities Coordinate all phases of product development by using internal resources (designer, pattern maker, R&D hard) and validated suppliers. Work within a team-oriented structure to build a collection that follows and reach the brand cost-quality–leadtime targets. A proactive mindset to increase internal product's R&D standards and enhance brand quality perception and value as well as profit margin, performance, aesthetics and innovation. Pattern maker experience to support internal innovation, functionality, and industrial feasibility. Manage and ensure project timeline from development to industrialization. Monitor and support product's quality during their industrial lifetime. Manage the racing road custom boots for Northwave's professional riders. Traveling abroad is required including visits to factories to assist and review projects. Requirements Minimum +3 years' experience in sport technical footwear product development. Experience in outdoor and/or cycling footwear sector is a plus (for Senior position, minimum +10-year experience is required). Experience in product lifecycle management. A proven experience as a pattern maker in the technical footwear industry is required. Problem-solving attitude. Experience in waterproof footwear construction is a plus. Organizational and communicational abilities; leadership is a plus. Passion for cycling and outdoor activity is a plus. Location: Onigo di Pederobba (Treviso)

Terms: Full time contract

Working time: 8:30 – 12:30 / 14:00 – 18:00
