The focus of this role is to negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies to achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.

As a **Forging /Machined parts Commodity Manager/Buyer** you will be responsible for:

- Defining supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels.

- Leading negotiations and allocating needs to specific suppliers.

- Negotiating terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement.

- Managing claims, commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, purchasing activities

- Advising functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the own field.

- Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordinating services rendered.

- Contributing to project as a team member or leads small projects.

Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event.

**Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED)

- At least 4 years of **experience in Sourcing**:

- Minimum of 3 additional years of **experience in Commodity Management**.

- Strong oral, written **communication skills both in Italian and English** and strong interpersonal skills

- ** Ability to travel** around 20% of the job (1-2 days at the time) withing Italy

- Good leadership skills, ability to influence others and lead small teams.

- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.

- Effective problem identification and solution skills.

- Proven analytical and organizational ability.
