The Formulation Development and Analytical Development Scientist is required to:

- Handling of multiple tasks related to Formulation and Analytical Development projects of liquid injectable and lyophilized pharmaceutical forms.

- Supervise all laboratory chemical analyses relating to semi-finished and finished products relating to laboratory activities.

- In agreement with his Supervisor, he is responsible for planning formulation and analytical activities for the assigned projects in line with the related project plans.

- Guide visits from clients in PDS, if required.

- Ensures adequate analytical support for the development of formulations/processes for both biotechnological and synthetic drugs.

- Collaborate with the FD/AD team sharing technical and scientific evaluations of analytical data for laboratory batches and associated studies.

- Ensures an adequate development of methods for identifying, quantifying, and determining the qualitative characteristics of IPC and finished products.

- Draw up study protocols/reports/Master Batch Record.

- Prepare and/or review SOPs for new equipment.

- Prepare and/or verify technical documentation to support development work (ex: lab notebooks, batch records) for both internal and customer use.

- Ensures the correct management of analytical instruments in compliance with company procedures.

- Keeps laboratory equipment in a state of efficiency.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

PhD, BA or MS in Chemistry/ Pharmacy/ Biological Sciences or similar.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

Pharmaceutical background or previous experience in R&D Company.

At least 3-5 years in technical field or in a related area (QC, AD, FD).

English fluent.
