Founders Associate
Ephos builds photonics chips, the essential infrastructure for the future of computing.
As TechCrunch puts it, we want "to shatter the market for AI and quantum chips with a new design based on glass. "The roleEphos is growing fast.
The number of projects increases every month, and we want to stay agile (one of startups' few advantages!).
We're too early for specialized executives (like a CFO or Head of HR), but we need someone smart and versatile to amplify our impact.
That's where you come in. You'll work directly with the founding team on strategic initiatives and daily operations.
This means both high-level strategic work and hands-on execution: market research, investor materials, special projects, and cross-functional coordination.
You'll be the key link between founders and stakeholders while helping build company processes. Examples tasks:Update our compensation scale: analyze market comparisons and propose changes. Lead a recruiting event targeting women in STEM. Resolve issues with difficult suppliers. Track progress on company objectives. What the role is notWe are not looking for an executive assistant. What we're looking forNo specific training required.
English major, physicist, athlete, cook - doesn't matter.
