TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control.

They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.

They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.

The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

**What your background should look like**:

- Analyze and actively communicate business results.

Helps Plant Controller drive improvement initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with all of TE's policies and procedures.

Position supports forecasting, budgeting, month end close, cost control.

- Key Responsibilities- Forecasting, Budgeting, Month end close

- SAP management: routine cycles, cost center, etc

- Expense analysis and purchase requisition approval

- Operational involvement / Site Manager Requests

Measures of Performance- Position provides direct financial support to the Plant Controller and works with the local and Business Unit team on strategic initiatives, providing impactful analytics and enabling improved decision making.

- Assess and communicate where performance is not on track with financial goals.

- Understand plant spending trends and quantify the level of countermeasures to bring spend and financial performance in line with expectations.

- Supports the preparation of financial data for executive visits.

- Supports root-cause explanation for variances.

- Organized and completes analysis and reports on time.

- Works well with all departments.

- Appropriately knows when to ask for more info and when more time is needed for decision making.

Background and Skill- Education: Bachelors Degree in Business Accounting or Finance

- Strong computer skills: proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, data warehouses; SAP exp.

required

- Skills: Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills, self-starter, independent leader, experience in leading and influencing teams, strong oral and written communications skills, organization skills.

- Experience in multinational company is a plus
