Description Your roleWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to join our dynamic finance team in Italy.

This role will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis for our Italian market within the Natural Specialist Business Unit, reporting to the FP&A Manager of the Business Unit.

Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the International Marketing Managers of one of our brands by developing financial business cases for innovation projects with a cross-country scope.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in driving the financial performance of a growing market within a leading multinational pet food company. What you will doLead the FP&A function for the Italian market, providing a comprehensive financial view of the business and partnering with the Italy Sales Director and the local Sales & Marketing teams to achieve strategic objectives. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and provide insightful recommendations to management to optimize financial performance. Prepare and present financial reports, including dashboards, closing conference calls, and management committee presentations, to effectively communicate financial performance to key stakeholders. Actively participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, providing financial valuations of sales forecasts and offering a full P&L perspective on a monthly basis, while identifying risks & opportunities. Lead the annual budget and quarterly estimate processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial coherence and alignment with strategic goals. Contribute to the development and execution of the long-term strategic plan, providing financial planning and analysis support. Act as a trusted business partner to the Sales & Marketing departments, providing ad-hoc decision support on pricing, promotions, advertising campaigns, portfolio management, and innovation projects. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures. Participate in the implementation of new dashboarding and analytics projects. What we are looking forBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably within a multinational FMCG environment. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is a must, while experience with SAP and/or Oracle Hyperion Planning are highly desirable. Fluency in English is essential. Native Italian speaker or having lived in Italy for a period of time. Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide concise insights and recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
