Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years.
We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.
Responsible for managing periodical financial closing & reporting and KPI reports for Avio Aero P&L.
Interprets and leads tools, requirements, and rhythm both from a local and HQ perspective, supporting the FP&A team in meeting submission deadlines and in definition of actuals/forecast company results, with focus on main financial items, through continuous interaction with all the teams involved.
**Essential Responsibilites**:
- Responsible for FP&A reporting preparation for long-term planning process for the (Strategy, Budget) as well as the short-term forecasts (monthly/quarterly estimates), developing a deep understanding of the Avio Aero financials dynamics.
- Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed.
- Work actively during monthly/quarterly closing in respect of the report deadlines, assuring ongoing data availability for analysis/review and leading data submission based on the tools/reports to meet defined scheduling.
- Responsible to manage and distribute FP&A reports (Income Statements and Free Cash Flow) for Actuals and all the details for internal and HQ requirements, assuring accuracy and timely data collection from all the teams involved in monthly/quarterly submission, forecasts, and long-term planning.
- Responsible for planning, tracking and preparation of Management reports for Operational review and Financial internal review, interfacing with other Finance teams and Functions involved for the aggregation data and reports.
- Work closely and in support of FP&A team in managing data repository, adopting any internal/HQ new report requirements might be required, making analysis and comparison, managing any risk & opportunities of data consistency and defining corrective actions where needed.
- Responsible for KPI management and preparation for monthly/quarterly reviews with Avio Aero FP&A leader, CFO and members of the leadership team.
- Responsible for ad hoc analysis as may be required by the internal Management or HQ as well as the FP&A leader.
- Responsible for the consolidation of the Avio Legacy and Turboprop segments, to provide unique Avio Aero financial reporting for all the items
- Promote simplification and control over Avio Aero report structure and HQ as well as initiate process improvements.
**Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Management Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.
- Previous experience in FP&A Operations in international companies or Audit firm;
- Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Explains difficult or sensitive information.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems that impact the function.
Takes new perspective on existing solutions.
- Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
- Good knowledge of SAP/Oracle and MS Office;
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English
- EU work permit
