Freelance Creative And Branded Strategist Uk Content & Creative Strategy - Freeda Uk - Hybrid Remote
We are looking for a Freelance Creative and Branded Strategist to join our team in our London Office on a part-time freelance basis.
Reporting into Global Heads of Content and closely collaborating with the Project Director, Account Directors, and a small in-house Content team to devise and execute effective branded content campaigns.
Main responsibilities:
Be the strategic and creative support for Freeda UK for all commercial briefs, from media agencies and brand direct.
Work hand in hand with Sales and Project Management teams to create standout pitch responses relevant for Gen Z and Millennial audiences across Freeda's social platforms.
Translating insights into creative strategy and effective social-first content for both pitch and projects.
Develop attractive proactive content ideas for commercial brand sponsorship opportunities.
Work with multiple departments such as Project Management and a small in-house Creative Content team to produce high-quality original branded content efficiently and to budget.
Support more junior content creators working on branded content creation.
Suggest/work with relevant and engaging talent in pitch and project stages.
Ownership of scripts, creative treatments, and casting in both pitch and pre-production stages.
Ownership of shoot direction and post-production creative in delivery stages.
Final approval of branded content to ensure all work aligns with the creative vision, brand guidelines, platform capabilities, and client expectations.
We're looking for someone who:
Aligns with Freeda's values of female empowerment, LGBTQAI+ allyship, community, and expression.
Has branded content strategy and creation experience from media owner, agency, or client side.
Has awareness of female-focused branded content in the UK media landscape.
Is confident finding relevant insights that inform creative strategy and executions.
Knows how to build engaging cross-platform social campaigns.
Is passionate and reliable, tackling challenges with a positive attitude and calm, collaborative approach.
Fosters a supportive team environment, offering feedback in a respectful and motivational manner.
Has strong creative copywriting, content, and messaging skills.
Can effectively manage their time to meet multiple deadlines.
Is comfortable approving content before being shared with clients or being published.
Is comfortable pitching and presenting, in both pre-sale and project delivery stages.
Keeps up to date with social trends, specifically Instagram and TikTok.
Is comfortable using Slack, Google Slides (Canva, FrameIO creative cloud/photoshop is a plus).
Is comfortable in front of the camera to occasionally feature in content.
Please note: the required commitment is part-time , to be agreed upon based on needs.
