- International and domestic transport

- Groupage through 200 cross-docking terminals

- Less-than-truckload (LTL)

- Full truckload (FTL)

For our office in Pioltello (MI) we are looking for a Freight Forwarder, Road, Italy

**Your Responsibility**:

- You will be involved in every step of the freight forwarding process from start to finish as Planner

- You will have a great deal of autonomy in your daily work, which offers exciting challenges, and you will be working in a team with great potential for development and plenty of room for innovation

- You will be responsible for trucks to and from Italy, this will put high demands on your ability to plan goods from our customers and external forwarding agents

- You will be handling the entire freight forwarding process in close cooperation with the other planners in the department

- Communication with customers, carriers, drivers, and our offices in Italy as well as our offices in Europe

- Revenue and cost management

- Daily optimising of trucks and trailers in cooperation with drivers, carriers and other suppliers for maximum utilisation

- Trailer management

**Your Background**:

- Good English

- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel)

- Good geographical knowledge

**Soft Skills**:

- Proactive

- Communication skills and maintain relationships, internally as well as externally

- Business consultative approach, ability to minimise empty running and optimise the operation of the truck fleet
