**Job Overview and Responsibilities**:

MISSION

Develop, in conjunction with other R&D, technical and commercial functions, new friction and wear applicative tests for various markets l

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Carrying out experimental work on tribological testing and materials (oil and dry lubrication)

Stay up to date with technical and market dynamics by creating and maintaining a network of interactions with Academic and industrial entities.

Become the GBU expert for Friction and Wear testing on lubricants and dry polymers (plastic and rubbers)

Ensures proper communication during test planning and timely delivery of results with all relevant stakeholders;

KPI'S FOR POSITION

Strong attitude and willingness to perform practical lab work

Set up, revise and improve existing lubricants characterization tests (e. g.

Four Ball wear test, SRV test, etc)

Elaborate and execute detailed experimental plans for product development and customer support activities

Provide experimental observations, preliminary data and detailed analysis reports

Help the team to operate and maintain relevant equipment, instrumentation and experimental techniques.

Maintain a safe work environment for self and others.

Strongly Interact with the lab team and lab managers

**Education and Experience**:

B.

S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related technical field or commensurate experience on tribology

A solid knowledge at University level of material science and chemical/mechanical engineering.

Knowledges in polymers and physics

ability to work in teams and in multicultural environments

fluent in English and Italian

result driven, self-starter attitude, good problem solving skills, positive attitude

willing to be based in Bollate
