Front Office Agent
La Gemma Hotel, a luxury 5-star boutique hotel located in the heart of Florence, is looking for a **Front Office Agent**.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- manage all reception and guest welcome activities, as well as administrative tasks related to the Front Desk;
- prepare reports on department performance to be shared with the Front Office Manager;
- ensure a dedicated guest reception and assistance service, handling check-ins, check-outs, and upselling activities;
- anticipate guest needs and provide tailored solutions by suggesting local activities that match their preferences;
- enhance the guest experience by proposing and organizing extra services;
- suggest and arrange excursions, events, transportation, etc. , upon request.
**Requirements**:
- at least two years of experience in the same role;
- fluent knowledge of Italian and English, knowledge of an additional foreign language is a plus;
- experience with Opera or other PMSs;
- customer and results-oriented mindset;
- teamwork-oriented approach;
- excellent interpersonal, management, and organizational skills;
- in-depth knowledge of the local area;
- familiarity with services such as restaurants, tours, events, landmarks, and attractions;
- flexibility and problem-solving skills;
- availability to work night shifts.
