Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Leading and motivating the front office team to achieve high levels of performance Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment Ensuring exceptional customer service for guests during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay Resolving guest issues or concerns promptly and effectively Creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere at the front desk Articulate communication of hotel policies, procedures, and promotions Diplomacy in handling guest complaints or challenging situations Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations Quick and effective resolution of issues related to guest services and front desk operations Analyzing situations and making decisions that prioritize customer satisfaction Training the team on the PMS and all SOPs Ensuring adherence to all financial procedures (in collaboration with Admin and F&B Manager) Creation of the weekly staff plan CRM Maintenance Core Competencies Fluent in English & Italian is a must 2+ years of hospitality experience Capable of creating a passionate, friendly, and high thriving work environment Collaborative and communicates well to provide direction/delegation to accomplish tasks at hand efficiently Must be a natural host and passionate about the hospitality industry in general Research, organizational skills, and extraordinary relationship-building skills Ability to multitask and execute under pressure and in demanding fast-paced environments Strong communication (both written and oral) and management skills.
Communicate with hosts and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines Flexible schedule - long hours and regular evening event coverage is common Ability to make thoughtful decisions and give constructive criticism Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality of guests, employees, and information Maintains regular attendance in compliance with Aethos Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel Comply with Aethos Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations Maximizes efforts towards productivity, identifies problem areas, and assists in implementing solutions Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, whilst remaining genuine What we offer Attractive development opportunities in a high-growth environment, domestically and internationally Family & Friends hotel rate We are very much looking forward to your application.
