The selection procedure is open to candidates who have obtained the national academic qualification referred to in art.
16 of Law 240/2010 for the functions of Full Professors and for the academic recruitment field 13/B1 of the call or for the other academic recruitment fields belonging to the same group 13/B.
Academics holding a position of Full Professor in Italy (Professore o Professoressa di I fascia) or an equivalent position in other countries cannot participate in this procedure.
The faculty member will be required to develop his/her teaching activities according to the Italian Law and the University regulations (Regolamento di Ateneo).
The teaching load will be integrated into curricular courses and in extracurricular activities coherent with the academic discipline of Business Administration, Accounting & Performance Measurement in BA and MA programs as well as in PhD courses.
In particular, the faculty member will be required to carry out the following curricular courses:
Introduction to Digital ManagementPlanning and Management Control SystemsThe faculty member will contribute to the organizational activity of the Department.
The expected scientific activity will deal with the core research areas of Business Administration, Accounting & Performance Measurement and will refer to the research areas of strategic management accounting with insights on business models, intellectual capital, and the impact of innovation and new technologies.
The scientific activity will be concentrated on multiple types of companies and different company time periods requiring an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research approach.
The candidate is required to have research expertise in other core research areas related to the academic discipline of Business Administration, Accounting & Performance Measurement.
The candidate needs to know how to use both qualitative and quantitative research methods and will contribute to the international development of the Department's research activities.
The position is at the Venice School of Management, whose major fields of activity include innovation, entrepreneurship, international management, and creativity.
The faculty is engaged in blending teaching and research in close contact with stakeholders from the economic, institutional, and professional areas, while also focusing on sustainability and responsible development issues for the wellbeing of future generations.
