We specialise in delivering best-in-class SEO & Content solutions to esteemed clients worldwide. RoleWe are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our technology and poker teams, reporting to the QA Engineer Lead.
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for manually testing new features across various products developed by both the backend and frontend teams.
The position involves collaborating with other QA engineers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, conduct tests, and ensure that the tickets and all changes meet the specified requirements and standards. Core TasksExecute manual UX flows, and test cases, analyze results, report, and track defects, verify fixes, and follow-up work to resolve issues on project. Collaborate with product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and acceptance criteria. Communicate effectively with developers to ensure the timely resolution of planned tickets and identified problems. Create and maintain test cases from feature descriptions by product managers and discussions with developers. Ensuring each product release meets well-defined high-quality standards. Assist in the development and implementation of QA policies and procedures. Essential RequirementsBasic understanding of testing methodologiesFamiliarity with common QA tools and techniquesPrevious experience with WordPressKnowledge of testing at a frontend level including using cross-browser platformsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications accuratelyNice To Have RequirementsISTQB certificationKnowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for troubleshooting frontend issuesBasic understanding of SEO principles and ability to verify that web pages meet SEO-related requirementsExposure to Agile development methodologies and familiarity with concepts like sprints, user stories, and stand-upsIdeal personExhibits a proactive and positive attitude. Shows a willingness to grow and learn new skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Motivated and detail oriented. Good technical skills, particularly in manual testing.
